Drama Assignment:  Recreating a Movie scene

Everyone has been to the movies at some point or another.  A movie is the result of a director and actors recreating a script, and making it come to life.  Now you will have a turn making your own movie scene.  

In your assignment you will choose a three to five minute scene from an appropriate movie of your choice.  This means choosing a movie rated PG or G.  Your scene can be no longer than five minutes, no shorter than three.  Your job is to recreate this scene using costumes and props as closely to the original as possible.  

Success Criteria:

• Stay in character.  This means becoming your character, and not laughing during the scene.
• Face the audience
• Props and costumes are used
• Time limit is met
• Scene is as close to the original as possible.

You will have until Monday May 16th.  On this day we will present our scenes.
