Last week we had a blast! We went curling, held our Muskoka/High School Info night, played some drama games, read with our little buddies, checked out some future potential careers for ourselves, listened to a guest speaker and more!
Here's what we are looking forward to this week:
Math: We finish our unit on surface area and volume on Monday with our unit test. We then begin our unit in Geometry (finding missing angle measures through a variety of strategies, studying the total angle measures inside of a shape).
English: We have begun our Literature Circles Unit. The kids seem to be enjoying their books, and we are delving deep into the novels by studing specific quotes, and finding their deeper meaning.
We continue to summerize articles, and our speech presentations begin on Monday!
Science: We continue to study structures, and how to make them strong.
Religion: We have to choose someone that inspires us, and this week we will be writing a paper, explaining how Jesus is an inspiration to us, and how this other person is an inspiration to us as well.
Phys-Ed: We continue with fitness, basketball, and throw in some fun games of low organization.
Wednesday afternoon we will be walking to Holy Names to participate in a "Tech Fair."
