The Passion of the Christ and This Week

We have been extremely busy in the Gr 7/8 class this past few weeks.  We have been preparing a presentation for the whole school for Holy Week.  We recreated the Passion of the Christ for the students.  It was a lot of work, especially for our Jesus (Levi Vizler) and our Pontious Pilot (Alex Borek).  They had many lines to memorize, and directions to follow.  They did an amazing job, and there was not a dry eye on the teacher's bench!  Bravo Gr 7/8, all of you were fabulous!!

Prior to our "passion Presentation,"  we presented Elaine Damphouse from the Diocese of London's Refugee Office with over twenty boxes of goods to bring to Windsor's newcoming Syrians of all different religions.  We believe it is important to follow in the path of Jesus and help everyone.  The community of CTK showed so much generosity and kindness!  Thanks so much CTK families!  Pictured below is our student council (minus Alyssa Gibson, who was in the Passion Play) with Miss Elaine.

This week is a short one.  We will begin a unit on Probability, continue to work on our essay, continue with fluids in Grade 8 Science, and work on some Art Projects.

The kids wrote their Math Test on Algebra on Friday.  Marks were sent home for the month of March on Friday as well.  Please sign and return!

Thanks for sharing your awesome kids with me!!!
