Book Talk:
- All sections of the checklist have been fulfilled.
- Speaker makes eye-contact with the audience.
- Speaker is comfortable at the front of the room
- Speaker uses an appropriate volume, and voice adjusts as he/she is speaking
- The talk is interesting, and keeps the audience wanting to learn more about the book.
Written Component:
- is neat, organized
- if it is artistic, it is pleasing to the eye.
- explains all of the elements of the novel: setting, characters, plot (all elements of plot), point of view, theme, type of conflict.
- all main events are accounted for.
- is detailed-I can understand the story from beginning to end without reading it.
