Thank-You Lord
Dear Lord,
Thank you Lord for giving me my Family. They understand where I come from and where I am going. My mother taught me to be kind, follow the golden rule, and always treat others the way I would like to be treated. My father taught me to be strong when others try to knock me down. My sisters have taught me to try my best no matter what, and pursue a career that will bring me happiness. I thank God everyday for my family.
Thank you Lord for my health. I have been blessed to be without major issues that would hinder my well being. I am able to run, see, hear, breathe, stretch, play, and grow. I will not take advantage of my health. I will treat my body with respect, and eat healthy and exercise in order to honour this gift. I am blessed to be given the gift of health.
Thank you Lord for my faith. I hold your love steadfast, Lord. I pray to you daily, with both thanks and for help with my struggles. I am so lucky to know you Lord, so that I can talk to you about everything and anything. I am grateful to attend a Catholic school, so that I can pray with my classmates, and I can learn more about your path and your son Jesus Christ. Thank you Lord for my faith.
I am grateful to you O Lord for my son, Jackson. He is the greatest gift I could have been given. Although he makes me work every day, the work is worth it ten fold. I can’t imagine not being his mother...and I can’t imagine what it would be like to not watch him learn and grow. His kisses are worth more than dollars, his giggles worth more than cents. Thank-you for the gift of motherhood.
Lastly, thanks to you God above for giving me the call, the vocation, of teaching. Every day I go to work to a job that fills my soul. I thrive on being in the classroom. I do not take my students for granted; often I learn more from them than they may from me. Thank you for allowing me to deliver your message to the future leaders of tomorrow. I am so grateful to teach.
Lord, you have gifted me with so much in my life...family, health, faith, a son, and a vocation. I know I can not repay you with money or goods, so I choose to show my thanks by living these gifts in a way that will make you proud.
Amen
Ms. Reaume
